The grinding of a small diameter crankpin and the bearing width requires a grinding tool that is compact enough to be placed on the crankpin journal. For example &#8211; a Crankpin has a diameter of 130 mm and, a bearing width of 56 mm. Complete tooling is required to be inserted from the limited space available of the engine block window and has to be placed on the crankpin bearing width.</span></p>
